The first year we learned grammar along with the writing of essays
and speaking. Then we had to choose a specific subject.
I chose the French cinema. The first film I watched was a
Russian film about a fishing village in black and white.
The men caught the fish and the women cleaned and sold them.
This film gave us a good idea of the hard lives of working
people in the thirties.
Then I encountered the films of Agnes Varda and I came to
the realisation that all of her films had a problem at the
heart of each one, often connected with women in our society,
for example the havoc caused by cancer, suffering loneliness
at home, divorce and difficulties in marriage.
La première année, nous avons fait de la grammaire avec la
rédaction d'essais et la prise de parole. Ensuite, nous avons
choisi un sujet précis. J'ai choisi le cinéma français.
Le premier film que j'ai regardé était un film russe sur un village de pêcheurs en noir et blanc. Les hommes ont attrapé le poisson et les femmes l'ont nettoyé et vendu. Ce film nous a donné une bonne idée de la dure vie des travailleurs des années trente.
Puis j'ai rencontré les films d'Agnès Varda et j'ai réalisé que
tous ses films avaient un problème au cœur de chacun, souvent
lié aux femmes de notre société, par exemple les ravages causés
par le cancer, la solitude à la maison, divorce, difficultés
dans le mariage.
В первый год мы занимались грамматикой вместе с написанием
эссе и устной речью. Затем нам нужно было выбрать конкретную
тему. Я выбрала французское кино. Первый фильм, который я
посмотрела, был российский фильм о рыбацкой деревне в
черном и белом. Мужчины ловили рыбу, а женщины чистили и
продавали. Этот фильм дал нам хорошее представление о
нелегкой жизни трудящихся тридцатых годов.
Затем я познакомился с фильмами Агнес Варда и пришлa к осознанию
того, что в основе всех ее фильмов лежала проблема, часто связанная
с женщинами в нашем обществе, например, хаос, вызванный раком,
страдание от одиночества дома, развод, трудности в браке.
